Top Spin demo requires 50hz

Downloaded the Top Spin demo and it says that the demo requires 50(or might have been 60)hz or order to run, please change setting, but I can't find it anywhere. I go into console settings and display and I can change the resolution but to 1000p whatever but the other setting bit is grayed out, any ideas? :confused:

It needs to be set to 60Hz.

I take it you are running in HD via component? If so, flick the switch on the component connector that goes into the console to the normal 'TV' setting. Turn the 360 on and go to the display options in the system blade. From there you should be able to set it to PAL60.

Turn the console off, switch back to 'HDTV' on the connector and everything should work

So I can play the game in HD, I just need to switch it to normal in order to change the setting? Do you need to do this in the actual game?

Yes, the full game requires 60Hz (just like some other games do).

Once you’ve set it once you don’t have to worry about it again, it just a silly bug that makes some games think the 360 is running in PAL50, even if your playing in HD.
