Hinckley Hail Storm - 28 June 2012 [Two parts. First bit is before it got bad]

Ha, what are the odds, that's freaking house on the other side of the road! This would explain why my car is full of dings....
Also had a pretty intense downpour at work, the sewers couldn't take it and the pressure lifted off all the manhole covers in the factory and part flooded the place. Talk about mental!

Yeah, took me 2.5 hours to get home (normally 20 mins) and 2 hours of that to travel 3 of the 12 miles back. Mine was a short trip compared to some!
Some parts of shields under 2-3 feet of water, tyne tunnels were full of water, quayside 2 feet deep, unbe****inglievable!
Hamzter - same here, the water pressure flooded the place, and split the roof open. Took us good couple of hours to get the worst of it away.

All we got in Bristol was abit of drizzle.
Boring, although I think the fact my car isn't dented to hell and back is a blessing...

Pffft. A tornado lifted the roof off my house a couple of years ago!

I don't know about tornado, but that was one hell of a storm. At least everything looks a lot cleaner now

^^ lol at the first image, "my car will be wrecked" - he doesn't seem too concerned. I would be putting my car under that tree.

Had some interesting weather today in Wakefield. Watched a baby proto-tornado forming, fascinating to watch it spinning and reached out from the larger rotating cloud.
