Basically Norm Li discusses how VR is inevitably changing the way architects and designers are working, and changing the industry. He encourages everyone to adapt with new technologies such as VR as they are no longer "just a novelty".

I bet being able to visualise the environment being designed is an eye opener for clients as well as the creators.
The more people use it the better. Everyone needs to do at least a small bit of VR sometime in their life just to experience it.

Yep it's an architect talking about using VR. Nothing revolutionary or eye opening, just discussing the impact it will have on his industry. It's easy to see how selling an architectural design concept can be enhanced by putting the client "in the room/building/environment". Hopefully, if more industries start supporting VR it will have benefits for gamers, but in terms of the hardware a company might buy one or two headsets. Every gamer (far more gamers than interested companies I would have thought) with an interest will buy one, and have to be the target market for this tech for now.
