The RMA process on the retail units is apparently quite backwards, you can't do it online, need to phone and then email the details over, you're probably better off sticking with WD or Seagate.

The last 3 WD RMAs I've had to do have been over the phone as they have royally broken my account. Getting the hump with WD these days which is a shame.
