Alright mum just bought a new laptop, its a TOSHIBA satilite pro l40 model no psl4be-00o005en

and the prblem is i want to install xp pro on it and when i pop my disk in the drive it gets to setup and says there is no hard disks installed :|

But it boots into windows vista home premium fine????

ahh, its only for mum to useanyway, i will just leave it on vista i think

how would i go about formatting the hard disk to install xp the laptop has no floppy drive :|

and when i put my xp cd in it says no hard disks found.....


Any help................. Anyone
