Ye thats my thinking, i need something more reliable i have been told the toyota 1.8 vvti engine is solid and will go forever hopefully this is true.....
Not driven a mk3 but the drive is supposed to be very good and much closer to the fun of a mk1 rather than the big cruiser of a mk2. Be warned that there is absolutley no storage space for anything though. You've got no boot of any kind and only a small amount of stowage behind the seats. I'd have thought it's livable if you're usually on your own but if you normally have a GF in the passenger seat then you could find it restrictive.
Ye i have a GF but she tiny only thing is my golf clubs looks like they have to be upright in passenger seat but i only for few miles to travel to get my local course.
Got nothing useful to add to this thread tbh but ive always really like these cars. Its just the one thing that put me off was that I thought they looked a little girly. Although with he right mods they can look quite good...
I looked at these last year, found the actual drive to be great (although not as good as the MX5), and prefer the looks to the MX5 (although I don't dislike the MX5).
The only real put-off for me was the dash, but then I find that with most japanese cars
