Do any of you people know if trains run after 6pm. MY Dad says they dont, but I dont trust him. Im planning on getting a train at 4:30 to go to leicester and it gets there at 7:55.

Im not that stupid to think that at 6 the train just wont turn up at the next change over or it will just stop on the tracks.

Can you guys and gals enlighten me on this.

Thanks

Azza

Myself and a few friends are seeing the Lion King in the afternoon tomorrow, and were thinking of staying for the late festivities. Having checked up on the trains, it seems like we cant. The last train back here is at 22:15 (!!), failing that we can wait around until 5am

What a bunch of useless cretins. I get more and more annoyed with the train service every time i use it. It's a complete joke. On a sidenote our new MP is doing a good job pestering the government about it

I doubt the people answering telephone enquiries will be responisble for making the schedules, so I fail to see how that will do anything other than make someones day that little bit worse

I know, it's fairly childish. When i say 'an earful' i of course dont mean just sit there and insult them. Just have a bit of a moan and ask them to pass it on to their supervisor. Maybe it'll filter up, who knows? (Doubt it!)

My sister has just finished writing her letter to FGW for a number of complaints, including not running her regular morning train to Reading yesterday for no apparent reason, leaving her on the platform at a locked station in the dark at 5am for the best part of an hour.

Ah fair enough then. I've got a freind who worked in the returns department of a store, and a lot of people had a proper go at her for a problem wrong with their goods. People just didn't realise she was there to try help them, not for them to rant at.

I doubt complaining about the service would do much good anyway, I can't see much change in the quality of train services unfortunately :(

SHOCK AS PUBLIC TRANSPORT DOES NOT RUN ON NEW YEARS EVE

Get a grip - it's new years eve. No buses, no trains, and very expensive taxi's. Always has been, always will be, and for good reason. Would YOU want to work on NYE?
