Tranformers War for Cybertron Co-Op Question

I see the above is only £5 on Steam and has some very good reviews indeed.

My lad is into Transformers and I was thinking this might be a good choice as a first Co-Op combat game with him (so far we've limited ourselves to Minecraft).

I note it doesnt have LAN play so will it be easy enough to 'find' each other online for a game, and not have strangers barging in? We've not played this type of online shooter together before so I'd like to be sure we can get together easily to play.

I think I remember there being an option to create private co-op.

Was a good game in my opinion, I had plenty of fun playing through the story mode and survival mode in multiplayer as well. You should be able to create private games in the survival modes as well.

It's a great game - Story mode is very good and multiplayer normally has quite a few people on it.
