I do most of my editing in Aperture 3 and personally prefer it to lightroom but recently I shot a rugby game under floodlights and needed Lightroom 3's superior noise reduction. I therefore imported the photos into Lightroom and edited them. However, I would now like to store them in Aperture.
I realise I cannot retain all of the non destructive editing however I would like to keep a copy of all the masters incase I decide later I don't like an edit etc.
Is it possible to import the masters (which I have saved in a file) into aperture and then tell Aperture 3 that the edited Tiff files I export from Lightroom are the 'versions' of the master files? (i.e. so when I click new version from master on the edited file it will bring up the master of that image).
If not, is there any way I can import both the masters and the versions into an album and then hide the masters from the viewer so I don't see 2 of every photo?
Cheers
