Random post for the day, just need a bit of help if possible. I'm trying to say the following in french:
"I like Mushrooms" am I correct in saying its
"j'aime les champignons" or is it just "j'aime champignons" becuase surely the les would translate it as "I like the mushrooms". As I said, quite random but just a little help if possible please.

Cheers.

Personally I would say "J'aime bien les Champignons" This means I like Mushrooms, using just J'aime means I love, very minor point I know, and the dont tell you that at the beginning.

sure 'je t'aime' means I love you but that's in that context, if you wanted to say 'I love mushrooms' you wouldn't use 'j'aime', you'd say 'J'adore'.

edit: I like mushrooms would be 'J'aime les Champignons'

Merci, who would have thought I could spark such a conversation from it. It's been a few years since I've done french, and can't really remember much at all.
