Transporting a motorbike

Hi,
I need to transport a motorbike about 12 miles. I've googled this service and have come across a site www.anyvan.com who have quoted £43 to do this on Saturday.

Have any of you guys used these guys before or know of a company that serve the Derbyshire area?

I feel like I should have warned you that the RBN lot are a bunch of urine extracting ****s at times

No worries mate, its like most FB groups, you have some nice people and some not so nice. To be honest someone from that FB page is picking me up today after work and will ride back with me. Only thing is that it's raining in Derby and I've never ridden in the rain before

Just a quick question in regards to the road tax. I believe when the current owner purchased the bike(nov 2016) he paid some sort of compulsory fee which included the first years road tax. Does this tax stay with the bike or will I need to retax it when I pick it up?

Road tax doesn't stay on a bike now once it's sold, you'll need to tax it.

I'll tax it when I get home. Seems as its only £17 for the year it probably isn't worth waiting until Saturday to tax it?
