I'm just trying to organise some travel insurance for me and the missus, can anyone recommend any decent, cheap sites to save me the hassle?

Esure is looking the cheapest at 29 quid at the moment

just used moneysupermarket.com to get an annual policy for my wife and myself inc baggage, cancellation and wintersports cover for £49.inc taxes. Cover looks good from Europe Assistance.

Are you going on holiday to Iraq or something? That's quite expensive. I got insurance for 10 days in Canada last year and it cost £6 and covered everything.

it would be far cheaper to ensure nothing happens too you and not have insurance, tbh nothing much is going to happen in the canries

I said the same thing until I had my digi cam stolen and lost 2 cards :p

Its not just possesions insurance.

What if you break you leg or worse still manage to have a heart attack? Who will cover emmergency medical bills?

What if you caused an accident accidentally and were sued? Imaging being sued for something as small as £20k (when compared to the multimillion dollar "prizes" being offered these days), could you afford that?

£69 a year for afamily cover suits me if it protects me from all that. I don't know about you, but I wish I had the power/ability to predict and therefore avoid accidents :)

You are joking right?
You're making a suggestion that somebody goes anywhere abroad without some kind of insurance?
Who sets out to break a leg or get knocked over when crossing the street at the beginning of the day?
Do you know how much it would cost to have you air-lifted back to the UK should something like this happen to you?

People shouldn't even consider going abroad without getting insurance - it will never happen to me is the worst possible way to look at things.
