My yearly travel insurance is up, Need to get a world wide, multi trip cover.

But I remember that a lot don't cover alcohol related injuries, is there anywhere that shows who does and doesn't cover alcohol related injuries?

Or anyone who knows there policy covers it.

probably best getting some quotes off one of the comparison sites and ringing around. A pain, I know, but only way to do it.

I was lucky and had a website dedicated for Scuba diving insurance.

Try moneysupermarket.com

You should be able to download policy wordings in pdf format, so you should be able to find what you are after.

Norwich Union charged me £32 last September for 2 week trip to Japan.
Might be worth looking at them?

I guess you should consider all the reasons for having travel insurance - e.g. holiday cancellation, travel delays, lost/stolen travel documents, lost/stolen cash ... expecting a policy to cover you for the medical costs of injuries sustained whilst under the influence of drink, is probably a fruitless wish ... the premiums would have to be a 100 times the current levels, to cover all the drunken idiots hitting the likes of Magaluf etc ...

As ever, drink within your known limits and be sensible, as everyone should be whilst out drinking in the UK.

Just out of interest, what alcohol related injuries are you seeking cover for?:p

I'm actually LOL at this thread! :)

On a serious note, Tesco are doing good rates on annual cover at the moment.

Who knows. But I've heard that some insurance policys don't cover you for anything when your under the influence (don't know if this is just a myth or not).
I'm not planning to get hurt, but what's the point if they don't pay out even if you've had 3 pints.

See my comment above. For example, if your return flight is cancelled / delayed beyond a reasonable amount, then you'll be able to claim under the insurance, to cover the additional hotel costs, transfer costs etc ... which you incur - it won't matter at all whether you are under the influence of alcohol when the cancellation / delay occurs. However, bear in mind, that if you are refused passage on a flight because you are under the influence of alcohol - then the insurance company will use the exclusion to invalidate any claim you make for additional hotel costs, transfer costs etc ...
