My pc b0rked this weekend and I had my eye on an iMac so I thought why the hell not and went to a department store and picked up a 24" iMac 2.8 ghz 2gb ram which I'll up to 4gb from OcUK.

Got it at the department store and not Apple because they give 2 years guarantee for free. Apple is 1 year right?

I bought a MacBook last year which started my Mac love affair and I've never looked back.

Heres a couple pics in case you're interested (the other monitor is 24" but the iMac screen looks bigger :S)

i would love one but carnt justafie it as a screen for macbook pro would do the same job and dont really need 3 computers

Thanks for all the replies lads. So far I love it, only thing I really really dont like is the mighty mouse. The button(s) feel awful on it, the wire is far too short and even with the sensitivity tweaked I just cant get it feeling nice on the screen. Apart from that I love it.

Nymins lol aye it is an apple sticker, think it came with me macbook. In the bin now like :)

You realise your meant to plug the mouse into the USB slot on the keyboard yeh?

lol yes mate, but it still feels short. You can feel it "pulling" when moving the mouse. Might be because of the pointer speed I have mine on and the mouse overall doesn't feel right for me. Each to their own.

just use a normal mouse!

i had a razer lychesis left over from my gaming pc and that's plugged into my g4 for the time being,

no software required and the benefits of a right click instead of press and hold!

ok so it's not a mac mouse and looks a little out of place but it works and the sensetivity control on the bottom works too
