Hi guys,
I've been looking at a property and have one qualm, which is the large trees beyond the back garden on private land backing on to green belt. These block a bit of the sun out to the garden. These trees must be a fair bit above the height of the house
Apparently there is no preservation order on trees on the private land, and neigbours have had trees cut down/trimmed previously.
What I'm looking for is an idea of how much it would cost to get the trees chopped a bit up on the canopy - I'm guessing permission will be needed from the private land owner... a cherry picker and obviously the hourly rate of the tree surgeons to get the job done.
Any ideas?
If it's going to cost thousands rather than hundreds then I'll forget it.
