Trek or Specialized ???

looking to get either


Trek 4300 Disc 2009 Mountain Bike

or

Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc 2009




looking to be able to use it on the road and occaisonly go mountain biking

opinions please

Got a Trek myself, feel you get more for what you pay for, well at least in 2005 i did.

Specialized look much better imo, have a lovely style about them but not always the better bike.

I went with the Trek as well when I bought mine in 06

Have a ride of them both and see which one suits you better, the best kit in the World won't matter if you don't actually get on with the bike because you won't want to go riding as much and won't be as comfortable when you do.

Had to replace the Trek seat with a Specialized mind, thought i'd point that out!
