I do agree regarding 580 tri-SLI not being desirable. 6**/7*** series crossfire definitely the better option IMO.

Should let you know i'm basing my argument on OCUK prices I don't want to upset anyone by using competitor pricing.

7970 varies from £300-£360 before getting to the OTT models.
670 varies from, you guessed it, £300-£360 before getting to the OTT models (4gb vram and other such things).

But lets let this one drop. At least we agree that an upgrade to this years GPU's is the best option, seeing as it probably works out cheaper anyway (again based on OCUK pricing, and the fact that 2*580's should sell for MORE than £300 easily).

They can be had cheaper elsewhere not by much . You seem to have the idea that I'm saying I'd get a 670 regardless. I would if they were cheaper. Otherwise I'd get a 7970.
