Afternoon all! I hope you are well.
In a moment of interest earlier I tried to connect my PC to my Surface Pro to use as an extension of the PC's desktop.
It works! Huzzah! Liking the idea of having a 2nd screen whilst working from home.
Then, failure strikes. I open a Chrome browser window on to the surface pro extended window.
Youtube specifically. It plays but stutters, to be expected. Then it crashes my PC. Surface stays OK.
Since then my PC will not play youtube for more than a couple of minutes without BSOD. The code is generic.
I have tried restoring to windows to yesterday, reinstalling Chrome browser, reinstalling GPU drivers, disabling screen sharing (on both machines), and ensuring that hardware acceleration and flash are disabled in chrome.
I am out of ideas, has anyone experienced this at all?
Edit, the crash does not happen with IE or Firefox. But who wants to use those?!
