Finally got around to sorting out one of my sheds, I found a Wickes triple bar GU10 spot fitting.

Failed miserably with Google trying to find a mounting bracket for it.:o

Mounting plate need to 85mm width with 25mm high supports each with a threaded hole for fixing light fitting to.

Any one know you can get these mounting plates, Wickes don't do spares.:(

Did you ask them who makes the lights? Unfortunately majority of their lights now are shipped directly in from China.

Make your own? If you do the holes the correct size you will be able to get away without having to put a thread in it.

A few years ago, I had the workshop to make one.
I had to get rid of nearly everything as I didn't have the space to store everything after getting evicted.:(

Already tried, but I can't get a sharp enough 90 degree bend, plus I don't have any taps to thread the hole.

Don't want to use self tappers, as I have some chrome M5 fixings which look neater.
