So I forgot to put the aerial down on my cheerful little 04 plate Suzuki Alto when I went through the car wash... ouch! Aerial was totally borked so I bought a generic replacement radio and set about swapping it over. After some time, I managed to rip the old antenna and coax cable out and feed the new cable down the inside of the A pillar behind the dashboard and into the back of my stereo, hurray!
Unfortunately I must have borked something else when I was doing all this, as now there is no power getting to the stereo. I checked the fuse, and it's good, so it's not that. I'm thinking maybe I damaged a cable and caused a short circuit. Whatever it is, seems to have caused the battery to get drained too, as I couldn't start the car this morning.
I'd like to try and fix it, but not sure where to start. What's my next step?
