True 120 to Corsair H50-1 upgrade Q.

Can anyone advise me whether it's worth my time to upgrade from a True 120 to Corsair H50-1?

I did exactly that and shaved off roughly 5-7 degrees. Worth it though for the space gained inside case.

Expect the same temperatures but for the H50 to weigh less.

If you had good temps with the TRUE I would say no.
I had both and have kept the True!

A sidegrade at best, particularly as your sig says your cpu and TRUE are both lapped. About as good a combo as you can get, the H50 will take up a bit less space though.

That doesn't seem right to me. You may have had that temperature drop but something tells me your true was not seated correctly as both coolers are known to perform very closely to one another.

I personally wouldn't bother, stick with the TRUE and save some money, as there won't be much difference in temps...

this. Unless you need to get some space but can't see why you would? at best you'll get around £30 back for the true.

I'm planning on OC'ing to 3.4+ 24 7 to get some more life out of the cpu, as I don't see the point spending £350-£450 going i7 to get 4 extra fps.
