Now, i always thought truffles had to be found by pigs, but i got a box of truffles, except they are clearly chocolate. How can chocolate be called a truffle if it hasn't been found by a pig?

I almost had a truffle this xmas but it turned out to be coal. Why are truffles so expensive? Is it to cover the costs of training pigs to find but not eat them?

there are chocolate truffles and normal truffles, which are a form of fungus, pigs can sniff them out, but it's down to training not to eat them, truffles are expensive as they're hard to find and so supply and demand comes into play

PS: Lol coalface
