Hi Guys
I used to always use a WD Mybook (500gb) for backing up my files.
However a few months ago I leant it to a colleague who said that it crashed their pc when they plugged it in. I tried it back in mine and it seemed very hit and miss as to whether it would let me access the drive.
None of the contents are overly important so I wouldn’t want to send it off and pay to have it fixed but it would be good if there was anything else you could suggest to try and get the data off it. Are any versions of windows more friendly to problematic HD’s?
