TV card of choice

Relating to another post here I'm looking for recommendations on a freeview TV tuner (PCI or PCI express but not USB) for a media PC. As it seems that the wait for HD tuners goes on I'm only looking for a standard def one. Any favourites, ideally I'd want one with dual tuners?

Huappage Nova-T 500 , dual freeview PCI tuner (2 tuners)
I have 2 of them in 2 different PC's , they are good , stay clear of the compro crap

Yeah the Hauppauge are good, I have the oldest model of the Nova-T 500 and it works great. Waiting on the DVB-T2 cards to come out.

Everyone is waiting for the T2s but will we see them anytime soon?

do we still need hardware encoder on are tv card to records good quality, or was that only was for analogue tv, i am bit confused on that. the reason why i ask is that i have Hauppauge HVR-1300 taking too much room and i was thinking of getting an usb card, would i notice any differences??

i never heard about the T2, i need to do a review check on that, what about the picoStick and picoStick Ultimate, would that be a better or less version to the T2
