Currently using my pc monitor to play xbox but thinking I would like to upgrade my tv in the man cave and switch over to that.

Been trying to do my researching using rtings etc but suffering from information overload.

Budget ~£500.

Xbox One S has this HDR10 compatability, no idea if thats worth mentioning.

It is worth mentioning, as is the fact that the S can upscale content to 4K resolution. So, ideally, for the S and all consoles going forward (possibly excluding Nintendo's NX) you ideally want a 4K HDR TV with a fast response time (low input lag).

I don't know if 4K HDR is possible for 500 squids. I really don't. I think at best you might get a quality 1080P HDR set.

Do you have any specific features you're looking for?

No specifics really just after a nice bright clear display that does the xbox one s justice. I guess one specific would be size I sit about 3-5ft from the screen so I'm thinking 40-50".

I purchased one of these Samsung UE40KU6000 40" Smart 4K Ultra HD with HDR TV - Black for £419. It's a great tv for the money and I use it for my Xbox s, I've also started using it as a PC monitor with no issues .

I have been looking at these actaully along with the 6400. Going to pop into Richer Sounds today to have a compare.

Go with a Samsung T.V, I purchased the LG 850V and after picking up my gears of war 4 limited edition Xbox One S the input lag is terrible. and you can't turn on game mode on the T.V as when it starts it automatically switches to HDR. From what I've heard the Samsungs have better input lag.

Went for the Samsung KU6400. Happy with it so far. Now to find some good 4k content yo watch!
