Hey all,

Found a 1Gb dual channel PC3200 kit in my drawer the other day, I remember putting it there as I was lazy and replaced the ram with decent stuff instead of doing an RMA :o

Thing is now, does anyone know how you RMA the stuff?? The website doesn't seem to have a Uk contact that I can find so its just laying here next to me with thousands of errors :D

Hmmm they weren't very useful.

Does this mean I have a warranty or not?

Lifetime Warranty

This warranty applies to all “TwinMOS” labeled modules products (EXCEPT Rambus, Elixir, and any original modules) based on the condition that the product(s) is still manufactured. Any product that has reached the end of its product lifetime (End-of-Life) or discontinued shall not be covered this warranty. The end of a product line will be announced by TwinMOS on its website six (6) months prior to the discontinuation of any product(s).

is there a warranty or not on official Twinmos ram??

Whoop :)

Reckon I'd be able to send my PC3200 back for not running faster than 180mhz without crashing my PC? :o I've been living with it for a year or so now.. didn't know there was a lifetime manufacturer warrenty.

Thats what I'm trying to work out, its this bit that confuses me -

This warranty applies to all “TwinMOS” labeled modules products (EXCEPT Rambus, Elixir, and any original modules)

Any original modules are not covered?

It might be worth contacting OcUK as they used to sell/RMA the stuff. Unless ahandy don is passing who works there. ;)
