I think this has been a really good idea and hope the other services role it out. People laugh on here but that is the reality of what Police are made to go to. The officers can't basically use their common sense as once the call is generated 99% we have to go. Even worst is trying to resolve some of these issues but Police are the only ones with a statutory duty of care to everyone for everything.

At 5pm today we had 119 people in custody and have made 217 arrests since 5am this morning
