From an outside, cynical perspective, yeah. I held that view for ages... parodies such as Lisa Nova's "Twitter Whore" on youtube got it spot on as far as I was concerned. But then I actually jumped in, and found it quite interesting, with some interesting people actually talking about things of interest. The thing that got me "hooked" if you will, was watching Charlie Brooker's commentary on the Big Brother contestants entering the house, a couple years back. I despise BB but love Brooker so that proved amusing enough to get me seeing who else was doing interesting things... as already mentioned, Serafinowicz does funny stuff there, Simon Pegg's pretty amsusing... yeah. Stuff.

I love twitter, though I mainly follow other regular people on there and people with the same intrests as me. Same reason I blog too! I am a internet addict so I am on a lot of websites

I mainly use it for sporting updates. Best way to get up to the minute NBA and NFL scores all in one place imo.

Similar for me but with motorsport instead. It's amazing the information you can get from the teams and even the drivers.

I found it interesting (similar-minded people to discuss things with) and I also got my current job through it! Useful to have another form of communication, even if it's only used occasionally. Never know who might be listening

It should be a really interesting year with a move into filming things so I'll be posting about that when it takes off. There'll also be updates about various articles of mine I'm working on and so on.

I want to keep it funny and interesting, though, I'm not into the "I had a cheese sandwich for lunch." tweets. It's all new to me though, who knows where it'll take me?
