I have 2x290x's and an msi 970 and the 290x is faster at stock than my msi doing 1610 on the core to the lighting would be my choice

I found it quiet, if its loud, control the fans manually or set up a fan curve.

I have a corsair 650w running with a phenom 955be (which would prob bottleneck, but it's chipping away at an upgrade path isn't it), would I have issues running this card?

How old is the PSU? In theory it should be fine, depending on whether you plan on overclocking in future or not

And my worst fears have been realised, the ETA has been put back by another 4 weeks. Im currently using a tablet, so waiting that long just isn't practical.
