Becoming a director of a company will probably have no bearing on their actual job, do you think they will be sitting around doing nothing behind a big wooden desk or something? It's just that they now have an interest in the company they work for. You're not the sharpest tool in the box really are you James.

Yep. Also you could have many many directors even for a small company.
