If you update the BIOS we will no longer be able to provide support for configuring and maintaining the CPU overclock.

Theres a mistake on the main page for the MKii.

"Ultima Aurora MKII" AMD Phenom Quad @ 3.60GHz+ ATI 6950 Edition DDR3 SILENT System

Our lowest priced Ultima yet and this Pro Gaming machines packs a true punch, Quad Core CPU, DDR3, ATi HD 6970 Graphics and SILENT operation.

Nice builds, but I have to ask :

Where do you find these dinosaur names?
Who decides the "best" one to use?
Why do you still go ahead and use them? Is it a bet/dare??

NathWraith LOVES Dinosaurs, this is something we are all reminded of on a daily basis :D
just look at his sig!

he sets up each system and makes sure it has a cool name as well as a killer spec.

everybody knows that Dinosaurs are awesome

Is the "Ultima Aurora MKII" really silent? I'll phone a few days later if I get no replies. Want a system for 24/7 usage. :)

its certainly quiet, silent is subjective.

all our systems are designed to provide as much performance as possible whilst being acceptable in the noise department. all OcUK techs are real hardware enthusiasts, we make sure that our systems are built how we would have them, Quality assurance is never an issue as we all build each pc as if it was our own. if it was noisey then it would not be acceptable ;)

most of the time we use things like fan speed reduction cables and positive system airflow to keep temps down whilst keeping the system quiet.

The ankylosaurus being one of my favourites personally. :p

Sounds good. I've looked at reviews for specific parts and often noise is left right at the end, so if I wanted to build a desktop it can add to the "unknown". But I've thought of being greedy and have two desktops - one already built water cooled for work that is not memory or processor hungry and the other for full blown resource hungry tasks. Or I have too much money to burn.
