Hello....

I heard there was a switch you could use to, er, switch between computers if you were using only one monitor. I think they are called A/B switches in the US. Do they do them over here?

Excellent, thank you. Has anyone here used them before? They don't screw up your monitor do they? [don't know why they would...]

Some of the older ones were atrocious but the newer models seem to work quite well, even cheapies like the ones OcUK sell. There are higher end "business grade" KVMs available (the ones we use are £1000 but they have 16 ports, Cat5 to the SIPs and KVM over IP built in ;)) but OcUK don't sell anything like that.

If you've got an uber-res screen you might run into problems with the cheaper ones but otherwise you should be fine.

I used a one for my Xbox 360, but it kept messing my screen up and when I went back to PC I couldn't choose higher than what I set my Xbox 360 too before switching. I probably just have a crap KVM though :P
