Ive bought some roccat kaves which i am pleased with
I have a slmple 2.1 speaker setup
whats the best way to use the two? put in a second sound card?
i have a spare DG here
Any advantages disavantages to having 2?

I connect my 5.1 roccat to my x-fi and my speaker to my via onboard and they work fine with win 7 64 and I think having 2 soundcard is very flexible you can set your game to route its sound to your desired device and play some music and send it to another device of your choice, you can do this all in windows no need to swap cables.

I'm not an audiophile and just use vlc to play my music.

This is wow you can send the sound to your device of choice without changing any settings in windows.Ofc this is game dependent.

If you really must change your default playback device , you can change it here.
