My old 7600 has finally given up the ghost so it's time for an upgrade. I've been wanting an 8800 for ages and now seemed like a good time to buy. I just have two quick questions:

1. How long is the gt? I know there were some issues with the gtxs being really long, but I can't find anything about the gt. It'll fit in a lian li pc 7 right?

2. Is a 400w (enermax) psu enough to power the card? My processor is overclocked, but I'm not planning on overclocking the graphics card.

Cheers!

1. have the same card and case fits just about, can always move the HDDs

2. cutting it a bit fine, not sure someone with more knowledge might know

Should be fine. I had a 8800GT, 4 hard drives and two optical drives with a 430w supply and everything was fine

The PSU should be fine, the only way to be sure is to try it out though. I suppose if necessary you could disconnect one of your hard drives until you can afford a new PSU.

Just been to overclockers to pick one of these up, went in my pc7 easy and my psu seems to be able to handle it. Played COD4 for a little while and it ran sweet as.

Cheers for the help!

Yeah the GT's are about 9-9.5 inches long, same length as the old 8800 GTS's and the old x1800/x1900 series from ATi, probably same legth as new 512mb GTS to. :)
