Tyre help please - Focus - Sport or Premium Contact?

Hi,

Got an MK2 Focus in November and it came with Falken tyres. I've not been at all impressed with them.

I don't know much about tyres apart from the fact Continental is a good brand - so was just after some advice. Which of the two should I go for? Or are there any others you would recommend?

The Sport Contact performs better. The PremiumContact lasts longer. Which matters most to you?

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll opt for the former. While I'm not too fussed about performance considering my driving style, I'm not overly bothered about longevity either. So may as well get best I can.

If you're not fussed about performance, get the Premium. While you say you're not fussed about longevity either, the Premium is hardly considered a poor griping tyre. It's more of an all rounder, so unless you really are fussed about performance, which you're clearly not, get the Premium

PC2 doesnt exactly last for ever either though. If they are a similar price why not go for SportContact?
