Tyre Hit - Wasn't his lucky day!

I'd say so. WIPE OUT! Look at all that Fuel go flying through the air!

Awesome!

Got what he deserved tbh - filling up like that, who did he think he was!??

[/umm]

Hi there

Where does the tyre/wheel come from though and that looks damn painful.

Also why are people saying got what he deserved?

It looks like it came off a passing small truck.

Looks like it came off a passing truck/bus/coach. Only Oracle said he deserved it, and I think he was attempting humour.

Unlikely, as there is no 'wheel', just a tyre. Its very rare that tyres peel from rims and stay in tact. Also the angle of the tyre is not that of the road that passes behind the garage.

Something fishy there I think

How do you know its just a tyre?

A tyre on its own would not have the momentum to cause that kind of impact.

You can see there is not centre to the tyre, unless its on the other side.

And trust me, Tyres can roll that quick with no wheel. Quite easily, after all, they are round!

Very bizarre, you're just stood their minding your own business, filling your car and thinking about the meaning of life when something like that happens. I couldn't help laughing - not at the guy but at the weirdness of it all!

Looks like the big hub nut has come loost and everything including the brake drum has come loose and hit this guy :( That is deffo two wheels together :) I should know. I work with them everyday :p

It is a wheel off a small truck that has two tyres per side on the rear axle. Rims are bolted together and the dish on it disguises the fact in the video footage. There is a good chance that the brake drum will also still be in there, so that is a lot of weight..............
