U.A.E. Removes Sunday London Times From Newsstands

The Sunday London Times newspaper was removed by authorities from shelves in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday amid intensive reporting of Dubai's debt problems, an executive at the paper said.

The National Media Council ordered the paper blocked by distributors without providing a reason, an executive at the paper in Dubai told Zawya Dow Jones
yay, guess some of you would like that here, the country is in a mess, the funny thing is Kazakhstan, uk banks are going to/ or should i say will lose on billions of loans, and YOU the tax payer with cover thoses losses.

Ah yes just like here, media censorship.

People do realise if they default on that debt we are the proud owners of a 40 billion hole which has to be filled by the tax payers, now that the bank is nationally owned.

Surely we are proud owners of 50% (it was 80bn debt total right?) of whatever the Dubia company owns - which is some real estate somewhere probably
 
I was watching ''russia today'' yesterday and one of the commentators talking on alistar darling and gordon browns investments. He called them the beavis and butthead of the financial world...lol
