UB40

Signing off only for me. benneh and I had the pleasure (:P) of being taught by their old engineer at college. He was (apparently) the 'dad' in the video for red red wine, but i never checked.
 
yeap i love them,i still see some of these guys around birmingham from time to time,Astro is occasionly drinks in the spread eagle in acocks green with his long time school friend Dave payne;)
Sometimes Robin does be round the truck stop playing pool with jelly baby and the lads and drinking socially out of the public eye
 
i can still remember seeing UB40 sprayec on a wall when i was around 8 years old and wondering if it were like WD40 lol

But I was dissapointed with Oh America. Rap, in a UB40 song, that isn't Astro? WTF?! Even then, Astro is more spoken word than rap. I thought marvin priest could sing (Assuming he was the one rapping in the song?)

If any fans are interested, the band post regularly on the UB40 forum, in fact, I just had a debate with the drummer (james brown) about the amount of political songs they output.
