Ubiquiti standalone issue

Hi,

Had x3 ubiquiti AP's for a while now, all running as standalones - set up via my phone.
All are 'blue' and wifi is working ok.
However, all of a sudden, when using the Ubiquiti app on my phone, I can see all access points but when I try to connect to them (to check for software updates), i get the never ending spinning disc (same for all AP's).
I am connected to the same wifi network, and all has worked fine for around 12+ months.

If I physically unplug them and reconnect - I can connect to them from the Ubiquiti app again.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Thanks

Wouldn't it be easier to just install the controller on a PC, then just fire it up when you want to manage them? That way you get full manageability when you want it.
I just found it extremely simple to do on the phone, the controller seemed a lot more complicated on the PC......I like simple :)
Been working flawlessly until now, will wait and see if the next firmware update fixes it before I do anything more drastic.
Was just wondering if somebody knew what the problem was and if there was an easy fix.
