A very good second half, threw caution to the wind and went for them - the only way that ever works for us. Overwhelmed them with far superior players.
Ronaldo is insane for his age, he was everywhere right until the final whistle.
Scholes not happy in the studio, good on him. People shouldn't be fooled.

Plus both of our next two games are on the road and we need 4 points out of those.
It's a good win, but the first half performance was lamentable. Atalanta ran out of energy and we overwhelmed them with better players.
That's about it really. Same old pattern under Ole.

Back to earth for a minute ... you look at that Leicester game and this first half, bloody awful. Thats United. They may well get mullered by Liverpool next game, but they might sneak a win. I have no idea.
This is the thing, you can't be literally terrible 50% of the time and make progress as a team.

You could see how the tactics changed in the second half. Bruno was a lot deeper. Our team is so unbalanced and we have an abundance of talent but don't know how to play it. Getting that right is the key.

The thing is we weren't actually terrible the first half, we created far better chances than they did we just didn't take them. We were good value for the win.
That's extremely generous, we were woeful. A few fluffed chances don't really change that.
As a neutral observer, if any United fan is happy after that game, it's can only be short lived surely? You should be glad that you won the game but the frailty in the performance was there yet again and is increasingly worrying.
I've watched all of Uniteds games this season and the last 4 performances have been shockers.
Atalanta had a lot of first teamers out tonight, of they played I think they would have been out of sight after the first half.
United got put away Vs Leicester and how they managed to win the game Vs Villarreal is a miracle.
Congrats for the great comeback 2nd half tonight but there are some massive improvements needed in that team, they'll be lucky to finish top 4 this season.
