UEFA Champions League/Europa League 15/16/17 Feb *** Spoilers ***

The blind delusion I've witnessed from some Liverpool fans made me think he was serious. :p

:p

Spurs vs Milan or Arsenal v Barca, can't decide which will be better.

Haven't really got my hopes up for Liverpool one producing much if i'm honest.

that quote has nothing to do with whether Verm has been with them for 4 years or not

All clubs do have to cope with injuries - although Arsenal SEEM to have more than most.......or maybe they just make more noise about each one :)

More likely the latter, did anyone really bat an eyelid that United went through periods last season without any centre backs? Or how for 3 years now we've had to do without a midfielder who cost us 18m and had a great first season? Or how big a loss Owen's injury at the end of last season ended up being once Rooney also got injured? Or how this season we've had to do without Valencia who last season was laying on assists for Rooney left right and centre?

No no one acknowledges those points nor do United fans bang on about it time and time again because injuries happen it's part of football. You could argue that when fit Hargreaves would be in our starting 11 - does that me we haven't been able to name our strongest 11 in 3/4 years either?

If I had to choose just one player to be fit out of Bale, VDV, and Modric, it would be without a doubt Modric. Hopefully he will be fit enough to start, otherwise possession wise we will get pummelled.

The beeb reckon ambrosini and pirlo will be missing in the middle and milan's 3 jan signings won't be eligible for the game (so that means no bommel either). It is going to be a strange game with all these players missing from both sides.

Pato/Ibrahimovic/Robinho/Cassano I expect a convincing Milan win 3-1 (Inter fan)

He was a January signing and ineligible. I should've been more specific :p

Yeah I saw it but forgot about Cassano (it's because he played a CL qualifier) for example Torres can play for Chelsea in the CL this season. That'll be quite a big loss for Milan then. Midfield with Flamini/Abate/Boateng (don't even know if their 100% fit) but if they are should suffice.

I was actually thinking whether Utd's away performances will improve automatically once Valencia is back on the right (nothing against Nani at all - just a different type of player who was able to produce chance after chance for scorers from the right last season) :)

It'll be interesting if VdV does play. Him and Ibrahimovic have some serious, serious history between them.

Sounds like it'll be Palacios and Sandro in the middle of the park for Spurs tomorrow night. Not exactly Champions League quality, is it? Crouch should bag a hattrick though. :)
