UEFA Champions League/Europa League 2010/11 Matchday 3 *** Spoilers ***

He's another player that likes scoring against us. The ******. :p

Still maintain had we a full first team we'd have a bloody good go, at least, but now that Vermaelen's out (for the season?!) I don't think we'll win.

De Jong will massacre Cesc's legs for sure.

Vermaelen is out for the season?! I've been taking a break from the Arsenal news for a week or two, is that true or are you just poking fun at the fact we get ridiculous and unrealistic injury reports and return dates? such as the van Persie one.

Seems Ade has hit form at the right time, i just hope he doesnt celebrate like last year as it took him 5 games after to get going again.

He is a very erratic player, form wise. I wouldn't expect him to press on because he scored a hat trick in his last game, he was never really consistent enough for Arsenal and I don't see that changing. Koscielny and Squillaci are fairly tall, Djourou is also, I don't think that Adebayor has massive strength he prefers to try and use his height and his feet and I don't really see him totally outclassing our defenders. I'm much more concerned at the prospect of an in form Silva and Tevez. Actually, upon reading up it appears that Koscielny is out, which leaves Squillaci and Djourou, not the strongest of defensive partnership and that's a bit of a worry for me considering some of City's attackers.

He only tried last night so he'd get picked on Sunday.

Also about Vermaelen, it's only rumours about it being a long term injury, but it certainly isn't looking promising. First it was a few days, then a few weeks, now it's a few more weeks and Wenger isn't sure when he'll be back. Doesn't inspire me with confidence

More than very lol
I think he will though because its Arsenal ;)
You should be concerned about Johnson also as he last night was very good. De Jong has his fire back as well so should make for a good game :)

Is Adebayor starting then? I thought City played a 4-3-3, I would have Silva, Johnson and Tevez up front instead of Adebarndoor.

Ade will start after a hat trick...
I see a 4-2-2-2
Hart
Zab-Komp-Lesc/Toure-Boateng
--------De Jong---Yaya
Johnson---------------Silva
-------Ade------Tevez
and Balotelli on sometime in the game
