***UEFA Champions League Qualifying 17th & 18th***

The thing I don't understand about the pitch is why is it artificial? E Europe, Russia, Scandinavia I can see the need easily. But Switzerland? I mean Germany manages without them.

Maybe they can't afford under-soil heating? That would seem like the best solution to me.

It comes with a health warning.

true - I don't ever recall being 3 - 0 down after 29 minutes.. Record books some one?

We do need a decent CB for when King isn't playing. It was only to apparent yesterday how much Bassong and Dawson rely on him. And a CF too. The four we have just aren't decisive enough in front of goal. No good having a decent midfield, which I think we have, if there is no one there to put the chances away.

LOLSpuds...and here i thought they would run rampant over the YB's...still not a bad result for the Spuds...they got 2 away goals so should easily get a result at WHL...although secretly hoping the YB's put it up them but a 1-0 win for the Spuds gets them to the group stages does it not??.

Was out lst night but... Oh deary deary me Spurs. I imagine they'll still win at home and go through, but it doesn't bode well for Barca et al. later in the competition :p

Pre game:
"It looks fine, good surface, very good," he said.

"Much better than QPR's used to be many years ago, that's for sure."

Post game ..

"We've had it at QPR; we don't have it anymore in England.

"I don't agree with Astroturf and I don't think Astroturf should be used in a competition like this."

Cry much Harry?
