Really? Honestly?

Our passing was all over the place, losing possession far too easily, defence often looked completely disorganised and confused and the vast majority of play just seemed totally scrappy and desperate imo.

Play like that again and we'll be lucky to get out the group and if we do, we'll just get torn to shreds by Spain.

Same applies for Wellbeck. Though at least Carroll held the ball up near enough every time and also defended well.

Fairly average performance, we're going to have to be much better than that to get anything against a more impressive side. Sweden are a dreadful team and we should be beating them way more comfortably than that. I thought Milner and Young were particularly poor tonight, I'd get rid of both of them for the next match and give Walcott and the Ox a chance to play together. I absolutely hate England's lack of patience. If there aren't any passes on, rather than doing what Spain or Germany would do and knocking it about, waiting for an opening and tiring out the opposition by making them chase it, we just get impatient and resort to doing diagonal long-balls!

The game plan of crossing it into Carroll ended after he scored. I can't remember one cross into him in the second half, what's the point of 442 if we're not going to play to it's strengths.

I'd just go Rooney up front alone with Gerrard off him or something, we refuse to play to our strengths.

He scored the goal and set Parker up for a long range effort early in the game. He did nothing else what so ever. Carroll did far more.

Young on the other hand was absolute **** once again.

Johnson was horrendous for the first goal, playing them on side and then not clearing it properly.

Really? Apart from the goal I forgot he was playing in the 2nd half. Carroll actually made a couple of good defensive headers, and with his foul for the 2nd goal, made it more interesting.
