I clearly don't understand the scoring coz they were talking about the first round being 10-8, but why wasn't it more like 10-2 ?

awesomeness, there I was thinking gotta wait a few weeks for an mma fix. 2011 by alrights should be mma packed after the wec/ufc merger and then strikeforce and few other events making up the gaps inbetween surely we should have mma events every 2 weeks !

Technically it could be 10 - Anything, but it seems in MMA a normal round would be 10-9 and a savage beating is a 10-8.
I guess because there are so few rounds in MMA even in a title fight, that giving someone less than 10-8 makes it really hard to pull it back even if they control the rest of the fight.

Yup think dana had no choice really, it needs to be re-confirmed since both put there hearts on the line and there was no win.
Its gonna be insane, I think gray will change his plan so he doesnt gas himself out if he can knock out frakie once per round which he could do hes got a chance of winning.
I still reckon will see a descision again, either that or we may have a shogun/machida "lets sod it gameplan" and just come out swinging as if it was round 6
I wouldnt want to bet a pound on either though
