Live in the countryside and they keep my feet warm around the village. Don't really fancy getting my Addidas covered in mud, sand and other Cornish crap. Some of my surfer mates own them. But you do have to be pretty comfortable with your sexuality to wear them, wouldn't want you lot turning gay now

You're almost right . Ugg is just a type of boot in Australia and there are many different companies who make them

I got my wife some UGG Leona boots for crimbo at a cost of £200. They are like a black leather boot with heel with a fabric top. Still overpriced tho.

The 'fake' fakes suck because they get that 'collapsed' look happening once they've been worn for a while. The cheapest way to get them is to get a friend to get your some abroad... I got mine from America when my parents went on holiday... I didn't get the 'Classics' though, which aren't the original Aussie surfer guy cum female socialite/celeb fashion statement explosion everyone wears ones, but these:

Bottom's leather and they have a Vibram sole, so they've been good in this weather, although like all Uggs you wanna avoid getting the suede wet or they'll get ruined.

They are ugly, but insanely warm and comfy to wear into town or just out ona day to day basis. I just buy the cheapy fiver ones from primark though, that way I can trash them and not really care

Woman always worry about being unique, and apparently their worst nightmare is turning up to a party wearing the same dress as someone else. Walk into town on a saturday and every big hooped, chewing gum chomping **** under the sun is wearing ugg boots, real or fake... you can't tell the difference from afar.

There horrible to look at, and the fact they are so common and over priced... The Iphone of the boots market now. (At least iphones look good)
