*****UK FIRST - Just Arrived MSI HAWK Super-OC 1000MHz Core Cards!*****

1 There are a lot of people out there who will pay for higher quality product.

Otherwise we'd all be driving KIA's and Daewoos, many people want the extra quality a premium product brings.

Well said.

A lot of people seem to be missing the point on this thread.

People do not always buy with their head (IE. best bang for buck). They sometimes (often?) buy with their heart.

I would say that a lot (most?) who buy this particular card will be fully aware that stock 460's clock well and that a 470 is "probably " the better buy.I certainly am. But still buy it anyway.... because they want to.

The argument of what card is best can bounce back and forth forever in a thread like this. In some ways, this is what makes being a PC enthusiast so much fun.

As to me. I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to my card coming. Bring it on.

:):):)

Raven; At 780MHz on the core it doesn't reach those levels of performance, and if you're going to overclock it past that you may as well get a better card for the same price or less and overclock that.

Obviously, I'm just showing the performance you can expect when overclocked to 900+ on the core, and yeah I would buy a 470 over the Hawk regardless of build quality ect, performance is where the money is at IMO.
