The ‘left’ complain the BBC is biased to the ‘right’ and the ‘right’ complain the BBC is biased to the ‘left’, the chances are if both sides of the political spectrum are complaining, they are probably doing something right.

Which is funny because I see the centre ground complaining about it as well.

The right complain that anything left of gollywogs and public hanging is PC gone mad driven by fantasy woke bogeymen. The left complain about actual corruption and agenda driven class warfare.

The two complaints are about as balanced as the as the BBCs record on climate change reporting, ie having someone on air that denies science is presented as an alternative and valid POV.

The BBC isn't the worst, but it used to be much better. As did the rest of the UK's media, it's all been dragged towards the gutter and/or has been become more brazen about presenting the views of their vested interests as fact and good opinion.

Well that would be pretty much icing on the cake - the voters see the entire tory leadership and MPs as corrupt and unethical. Who'd have thought.

Vote of no confidence on the horizon?

They really don't like having to play by the rules, do they?

Far more likely to be internal, that's the Tory way.

And there falls another of Boris' great ideas/promises or in reality waste of time, money and resource that any single celled being could foresee. The cards are fair coming down around the PM, this one just further focuses the eyes on the NI/GB/UK issue he himself has created.

He's all talk. Had an opportunity to deny the vote on P̶a̶t̶t̶e̶r̶s̶o̶n̶ standards committee reform (that just happened to occur at same time as one of the old guard elites gets punished for corruption) but let it happen. That alone was a huge missed opportunity and it made him, our country look weak to outsiders.

Aren't they voting on a rather big change to the NHS this week?

Edit - Johnson currently presenting to the CBI, wonder if his presentation is called '**** business'?

    Edit - classic Johnson..
Talk of another rebellion regarding the social care reform, we all know how well Tory rebellions go in this government.

Edit - so far in his CBI presentations, he's talked about morality and supposedly made a car honking noise like a child...

Thanks, just watching now. Barely a mention in the mainstream news, even before watching I assume this is rushed, not fit for purpose, easier to funnel contracts and paves the way of their end goal - insurance/privatization?

    No top-down changes............remember that!

Quite like Phil, relatively straight talking teacher. So this NHS change isn't just a headline/nothing burger then, and it's just going to sail on through?
Excruciating! Blow after blow and he still clings on.

Unprecedented self-serving corruption, efforts to privatise the NHS, mind-boggling ineptitude (couldn't even be arsed to number his speech pages), and it's only Monday lunchtime.

Who could ever have anticipated what an absolute shambles this would turn out to be?

Oh, that's right. Masses and masses of people.

Perhaps those who didn't might want to think about staying away from the polling stations in future? - for the nation's sake, and even their own best interests.

    :)

Why isn't the NHS bill on the news... Another one getting slipped through whilst jokers do their circus field days?
