Trying to settle an argument...
What is the age restrictions for Casinos/Gambling in the UK? Is it 18 or 21?

I've ran a couple of Google searches but everywhere seems to say differently, and the sources aren't really reliable.

That is all :)
Thanks!

Anyone got a source?
wikipedia seems to be broken at the moment, that's what I usually use for finding sources.

I've definitely gambled in Scotland and England whilst under 21 and being honest about my age. Never tried while 16/17 though.

Different ages for different types of Gambling - and as far as I can recall, each part of the UK has different restrictions.

Do you mean Lotto, casinos, Horses, The Dog track, Online or slot machine arcades ? Slot machines in N.Ireland are 16 (but there are many 14/15 year olds in the premises)

Technically, you can gamble at 2 years old if you mean Blackpool amusements and rolling a 2p down the machine ;)

By gambling I mean being allowed to enter a Casino and play Poker, Blackjack, Roulette etc.

Well i'd say 18 seeing as i've been in a few aged 18, 19 and 20 and played blackjack and roulette :)

I work in a bookies and 18 is our age limit.

Visited a few casinos in my time as well and its 18 there afaik.
