If they do this it means they also won't be able chase you for fines you rack up while abroad on holiday etc. like the old days, so I can't see them sticking with that for long as it used to **** France right off

I can imagine this being a tit for tat.

They start charging UK citizens for driving on the continent, and the UK government starts charging EU citizens for driving over here.

Don't care what happens as long as it's equal between the two.

And this is the issue with brexit. People not seeing the bigger picture. What effect do you think this would have on commercial busineeses which rely on transportation of goods.

What do you expect if we leave, why would we get the benefits. Every single thing is up in the air and people are utterly deluded as to how much of that there is.

Works both ways doesn't it? We'll allow EU drivers to drive here.
